At the Tops

Friends suggested that we go to Tops in Busay. It is like Tagaytay or Antipolo. Taxi is said to be 750-900 and we don't want to pay that much. We rode a single motorcycle to the TOPS and at some parts it's very steep and has no street lights. It was an exciting experience and the view to the top is indeed breath-taking.

There is 100php entrance fee and I don't understand why it is so expensive.

Tops is about 2000 above sea level and it has about 1 hectare in area. The main ground is decorated by concretes in hexagon form and withered Bermuda grasses. The covered resting and eating area is wonderfully made by big concrete stones and designed in curves and circles. The tables and sitting area which can be used by anyone are made of concrete too. source

Very much like Victoria Peak in HongKong, the panoramic skyline of the city is seen here. It was chilly and just a perfect place to hang around however there are very limited choices on food and drinks. Going here once is enough. May be next time you can just try a restaurant such as Lantaw as suggested by my blockmate.

There is only Kitchen Bar and a coffee shop where you can eat/drink. We chose Kitchen Bar by Budoy on Top because Budoy is there, haha! And that's the only place where we can buy beer.

Jamaican Chicken, beers and cocktails on cups (read: liquor ban)

a very romantic view

It's another tiring but superb day! A new city we explored and we enjoyed.
Good night, Cebu!
