Starbucks Reserve

I was in Davao when the Starbucks Reserve in The Fort opened. You guess it right! I could have been there during the opening day, of course!!!

Exotic, Rare and Exquisite

Starbucks Reserve website: We spend a lot of time in origin countries searching for the finest coffees – ones with distinct flavors that enchant, amaze and captivate. But of the thousands we encounter, only a precious few are deemed exceptional enough to become Starbucks Reserve® coffees. These intriguing offerings are only available for limited times at select stores.

Sun-dried Ethiopia Yirgacheffe
Peaberry Zambia Terranova Estate
Sumatra Blue Batak

After getting back from Davao, of course, I wanted to catch up with these two people for juicy gossips and rantings, haha!

my Peaberry Zambia Terranova Estate

SoOoOoOooo what can I say? The coffee is raw, strong, earthy and exquisite! :)
I should try the other variants :)
The location is also perfect because it is not so crowded and it's in my neighborhood.

loving freebies

From beach to beach

Right after I arrived from Davao, I went with Rudden's family in Laiya for a beach trip. Almost all resorts are jampacked, I'm glad I found a spot on the shore where I can get more tan with less people around me.

P.S. forgive the wrong year on the waterproof camera

Thanks Tita Esmi and Tita Margie!

while I was sunbathing, the boys were playing freesbie

sunsets with my love, always epic!

Rudden and I went home the same day since I'll be going back to the hospital already and he has review.
Anytime in the beach is always a good time. :)

Sunkissed in Davao

Whenever we go out for a vacation, my mom and brother would like to maximize it by sleeping and lounging while my dad and I wake up early to maximize the place, explore, swim early, etc.

Our villa is right above the water and when we woke up, the water was so near our villa because it is high-tide. The staff assured us that the water never gets inside the room, but who knows? What if it happens now? haha!

I've always said that my favorite meal when I stay in hotels or resorts is the breakfast and this one didn't disappoint me. :)

the bacon is grilled and not fried, heaven!

one thing I miss about Davao is the fruits! Oohhh the best mangoes, pomelos and pineapples! I can eat them all day!

awesome

We decided to maximize our stay in the resort so we got the last ferry trip and just lounged by the beach, drank fruit shakes, slept in beach beds and just relaxed enjoying the serenity of the place.

orange and turquoise, our kind of summer colors

This is again one for the books (and the blog!).
Thank you to our parents for always making sure that we get to travel from time to time.
I know we all had a great time!
I love you all!
XOXO!
