while waiting in vain

for the results, boo!
Now its a hassle since deadline for residency is also next week, boohoo!

It was holiday last Wednesday so we went to Greenhills to shop. I love how I can buy a lot for a very cheap price. My faves are the buys from Bangkok.

Tips when shopping:
  • Wear a shirt dress so it will be easy to fit bottoms.
  • Wear strapless bra which will be helpful when fitting top/dresses.
  • Bring a small bag and make sure it has zipper.
  • Don't buy fake items. (With regards to over-runs, that's fine with me.)
  • Always check for the quality of the items and make sure they are classy even if they just cost Php150.
  • It's good to have someone whom you can consult when you are fitting. Rudden and I have a code. If he says "that's fine/ok lang" that means, its not good or just so-so. If he says "that's good :)" that means, buy it! Why? of course it's not ok for him to say, "no, that's not okay" esp when the salesperson is right there. BUT just don't forget the meaning of the code, you might still get it when he says "that's fine', haha!!! OOoppssss!

Thursday: Andre and I headed to Alabang Town Center. It started to be sunny but in the middle of the day, we would still get some rain.
top and shorts from Bangkok c/o Greenhills, turband from Flatterbuy, flip flops from Tory Burch, vintage watch from Seiko, bag from Banane Taipei

Rudden craved for some milk tea but it was late so I made him one. I used Twinings Tea, added some milk and sugar, tada! :) not bad!

Have you tried this? Allegedly, this is famous even before the Sweet Surrender, whatcha say? :)

I'm lucky to have a mom who works in a hotel. She has a lot of perks and knows a lot of friends/owners of different shops. Way before Carmen's Best became famous, we already get supplies straight from the grandson of former President Magsaysay, Tito Paco, a dear friend of my mom, who makes the ice cream on his own. He would also send us products from Ilog Maria and Holly's Dairy. Hooray to sustainable Filipino products! :)
