Bawai is one of Tagaytay's best kept secrets.
I reserved for our dinner days before. They are only open at certain hours on weekends.
The road to the house/resto is dark so I think it's better to visit for lunch next time.
Upon arrival, a person will check your name on his list and guide you to where you can park.
Before going up the stairs, he will ring a bell to signal those upstairs that there are guests coming up.
Cheerful ladies greet you and serve you Pandan tea as you sit.
There is a big Chinese family who celebrated a birthday there, a testament that people really go to this hidden restaurant aka dinadayo.

We totally loved it there! The place is so intimate and the homemade Vietnamese food is so delicious.
I read that they get their supplies straight from Vietnam. Bawai married a Filipino and we met the Filipino husband. The chef also greeted us. :)
Our beachtrip-turned-Tagaytay foodtrip is super fun!
Spending every minute with this guy is priceless. Cheers to overflowing love!
