Honestly, I don't know who he is. So I searched, haha!
The event "Flashback Friday with Johnoy Danao" is produced by Rudden's best friend, Carole. She is a fan and a friend of Johnoy who sang during her wedding.

The Voice
His voice is the soft patter of rain as you sip a cup of coffee. It’s
reminiscent of a cool summer wind when the heat seems unbearable. It’s
what you would want to hear playing on the radio as you spend a lazy,
quite Sunday afternoon– alone or with someone you are wildly in love
with. This is the voice of Johnoy Danao.

The Artist
But through out the various reincarnations of his career as a musician, one thing has remained the same: his signature which is his voice. With many aspiring to be vocalists, none can truly compare with how enthralling Johnoy’s voice could be with its throaty sexiness that seems to conjure pillow talks and whispered conversations even while conveying passion and intensity. This combined with his song writing prowess and his originality and creativity fueled by powerhouse collaborations has produced “Dapithapon”, an album that truly redefines easy-listening.
I enjoyed that night! Rudden and I rarely go out and watch gigs like this. It was a perfect Friday in LB. Unfortunately, I was such a sleepyhead so we left right away after the gig, haha!
Congratulations for the successful event, Carole!
